I'm going to have a couple of boxes spare of my bellawood maple solid hardwood 3/4" now that my installation is complete.

Wondering where to store it? Really i have two choices.

1.\ somewhere inside the house where it'll get in the way, but it'll share the same climate as the installed floor.

2.\ Up in the attic, where it gets hot and humid. I live in SW Florida, which is a very hot and humid climate during the summer months.

Obviously the attic would be my preferred choice, however the temps and moisture levels will differ massively from the installed floor.

Would the wood be able to re-acclimate itself back to normal size, say after a few weeks of bringing it out of the attic into the house, should i ever need to conduct a repair.

Or would the high attic temp change the characteristics beyond the point that it could never be used again.

Keep it in the house.

Store them inside the house....under a bed or sofa...or in the back of a closet.
