 Post subject: 12" long fine line crack in concrete...problem?

Is it a major problem if you have a long fine line crack in the concrete? How should it be dealt with? What problems can arise?
I will be doing a glue down with engineered hardwood.

Is the crack horizontal (flat), or does it rise up vertically?

I don't see any problem with patching it. I use Mapei Planipatch. The concrete must be good and clean with no concrete dust where you patch.
