Put a coat of sealer over sanded white oak, next day hand sanded edges(220) BUFFED WITH BEAT 100GT screen vacced & 2nd coated with sealer again. 3rd day left it alone. 4th day hand sanded edges (220) buffed with maroon pad. Began 1st of 2 wb finish. As I was coating my way out noticed the wb was separating only where I hand sanded while the field was perfect. Went back after 4hrs and surprisingly could not pick up any noticeable differences. Buffed with maroon pad right to the edges applied the final coat wb and the edges did the same thing while the field looked good' Went back next day, the floor looked great and smooth. What do you think the issue was?

what did u apply the finish with along the edges?..

was this by windows? doors?

i had a very strange occurrence recently with an oil base poly..and blew my mind...resolved it quickly enough..but i was freaking out...

thats the worst when completing a job and something starts to occur that you have no clue why..
