It's a light weight type of cementious floor called gypcrete. It's poured over the subfloor for fire retardation in multi storied buildings. You cannot nail or glue wood flooring to it. However, it sounds as if you are planning on installing a floating type floor, which is perfect for going over gypcrete. The pad you have is an underlayment for floating floors and sounds as if it is a 3 in 1 pad, which is also good. Just broom clean the gypcrete floor well and lay the pad. It isn't glued down. I use some of the boxes of flooring to hold the pad in place while I am installing the flooring. Good luck. Consider reading this:
