Hello All,
I'm a rookie installer DIY and I went with Kronotex laminate wood. Everything is going good except for the fact that where the boards meet (on the short side) they hardley ever seem to fit flush. I've tried skimmimg the lip of the notch just a bit and that seems to work, but obviously that's not the way to do it. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Dan

I have installed inexpensive engineered hardwood that had all the butt ends fitting too tight and had to be sanded prior to fitting.

I think this poster has a laminate floor.

Maybe you need to stop beating the ends together?
Maybe the laminate is a "Rotating" locking system?

which product do you have?

Maybe we can read the install directions online and be of more help.
