I am installing a Bruce 3/8 in. flooting wood floor in my house and I am concerned about moisture gitting through the click and lock joints in the kitchen and dining room area. If a glass of water or a pitcher of water in spilled on the floor will it not soak through the seams before it can be cleaned up? And if it does how do you get the water out from under the flooring before it does any harm to the flooring?

Yes, that is always a risk with hardwood in kitchens and other potentially high moisture areas. The key is to wipe it up immediately, which can be done if it is a spill. Not so if a leak develops. Some products seal the joints in these floors at the manufacturing level, others would require that you do it on site if you feel it necessary.
