Guys
Some questions regarding the transition pieces for floating floors, specifically Kahrs Woodloc in my situation.
I have an exterior door on my start wall for the first row of flooring, do you place the piece and mark the door and notch it for adequate clearance for the transition piece? I was think of using the transition piece that tapers down to a point and can be ripped to match a different height. Is this overall approach correct?
In another area, I am going up to a tile bathroom....the tile is only a 3/8" max height, so I cant use a T-transition...so I had thought to use that same tapering transition piece...correct?
For carpet I was going to use the same tapered transition.
I plan on one T-transition where my hardwood flooring comes back together (it splits around a wall going down 2 hallways.....and rejoins at a door between rooms about 8' down the wall....I cannot imagine these planks would lineup correct....or would they?? Experience here?
Thanks-
