Hello all.

I just wanted to say thanks to the people here that answered my questions and also for all of the previous posts from which I learned a lot. I installed 3/4" prefinished maple on my stairs/foyer, hall, living room and dining room. It's not perfect, but overall I would say it went pretty well. I could have made a career trying to flatten my subfloor. Eventually I made the decision to get it close and proceed with the flooring. The part I was most concerned with was coming off of the top stair nose and proceeding down the hall. The hall is about 32' and according to the laser, I am only off a little more than an 1/8" from one end to the other. It looks straight to the eye.
