Please upload pictures of finished hardwood floors here only. We prefer they be pictures with funiture moved back in place.

On the majority of residential jobs we are done & gone before the furniture & nicnacs are all back in place. With new construction there's obviously nothing to go back. And with addons/renovations, it may be months before other work being done is complete so the room may remain empty long after we're gone.

You may get more pics added if you reconsider that request. Lived-in pics are definitely better, but empty-room pics, I think, would be better than no pics at all.

Hey DC. I think they are just saying the pics look better with furniture. It is a request and preference, not a rule. Upload any floor and stair photos you'd like to share, furniture or no furniture.

I gotta say I think my floors look best before those homeowners go covering them all up with furniture and area rugs.

I mean chairs...tables...couches...all they do is make it harder to see the floors. I guess it is their house though...

I had to draw the line at my father-in-laws house though. He wanted to purchase some carpet runner to lay down the hall of the hardwood floor I just finished for him.

I told him I wouldn't allow it. I told him I would steal it if he bought it.

My plan was to steal it, then take it wherever my family went snapping pictures of us enjoying his couple thousand dollar rug...on the beach...rolled out on the flight of stairs at Safco Field...Camping...ect. Then send him the pics. :P

He decided not to.

I try to take pictures as soon as I get done. It's almost an effort in futility to go back later and get pics because most times the house is trashed. Seriously... I can't figure out why people spend their hard earned money and within a 15 hour period it looks like a tornado went through some of 'em. :(
