 Post subject: Janka Ratings and pneumatic nailers

Are Hickory or Pecan acceptable for use with a pneumatic nailer? We originally wanted to use a Brazilian Teak but found out that the hardness of the wood may be a problem (splitting) with automatic nailers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
