I had a question, we had about 1800 sq feet of bamboo floors put in recently. After a month they finally got the job done however they put the quarter rounds down wrong, so the second time they installed them which was this week they do not look right. The top of the quarter round was painted white however the ends were left brown? So they are two different colors which look really odd. Second thing is they left all the nail holes in them and did not paint in the holes or anything. The installer told us we had to hire a painted now to do all that? I thought that was all included in the price, so now the painter is saying all the quarter round has to be removed so it can be painted on the ends then once it is installed again he can patch up the nail holes? Last thing is the floor in certain spots is popping or making a cracking noise?

poor communication skills are common in the construction buis. anyway the shoe can be painted down thats souldnt be an issue. most floormen wont paint the shoe unless it is specifically discussed. Most I know will fill the nail holes and the h/o is left to either hire a painter or diy. why did it take months? sounds like a week long job, must have been a lot of prep.
