Is there a benefit to purchasing kiln dried ipe for exterior t&g porch?

dont think kiln dried is ideal for exterior use, IM not positive but IM pretty sure that it's normally air dries for outdoor use and kiln dried for interior. I guess it depends on how dry they kiln it either way. Porch flooring shouldnt be 8/9 % I would think it would be in the 15/18 range but i sell floors for interior use not exterior porches.
