Hello everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I Live in Belleville Ontario and as my handle implies I luv to fish. In fact for the last 13 years I have run a discussion board for fishing fish in the my area. Its a decent board with great contributors and after reading many of the posts here I know a good board when I see one and this is it. I cant say I have alot to contribute but can keep you updated with before, during and after pictures on a 3 1/4" x 3/4" quebec maple hardwood floor install I will tackle in an older house we just bought. Wont be in the house till 2nd week of november so in the meantime I'll be snooping around here and reading up on what laying hardwood is all about. Thanks

Hi fish, I will have a crew in the general neighbourhood (The County) in a couple of weeks to install a white oak floor. If you like, I may ask the home-owners permission for you to visit my crew briefly to pick up some pointers.

Ok, I have heard back from the client, who has no problem with you visiting the site. My installers that are on site, are extremely clever guys and perhaps can show you a few "tricks of the trade". At least sufficient to your needs for your own installation. I will "pm" you the address details. Project is scheduled to start next Monday and run for 3 days. First day will be mostly set up so Tuesday would be your best time to go there.
