I have two questions

1. Question on installing final row- Is there any way other than face nailing to install the last row? I.E. construction adhesive on the underside glued to the subfloor. Any suggestions.

2. I need to re-mill some groves in the end boards. What is the best router bit? Straight cutting bit or slot cutter.

Thank You Gary
:D

You can glue those last couple of rows that the floor nailer won't blind nail. I can usually get one row blind nailed with may stick nailer. Then next to the wall a place top nails so the expansion trim molding covers them.

Top bearing slot cutter, with an over sized bearing so it doesn't cut so deep.

Gary,

There was another thread a while ago on the topic of cutting slots. The experts suggested the top bearing slot cutter, and provided a site to get it...
