I'm getting ready to install hardwood floor and I was wondering if I could seal the unfinished tongue and groove with either oil ,varnish or silicon? I'm trying to slow down the ( dog urine from soaking into the gaps ) absorption before I can wipe in up! Nobody has been able to tell me if it will affect the wood negatively. Any insight would help! Thank You Glenn

My wife got them for our new pup and they have been awesome training tool.
but if you really like punishment you could do the floor but it would have to dry before its assembled and I would worry about a the film making the t&g too tight to fit properly.
