First off great forum !
Im going to be installing hardwood flooring nexy week and would like to know what you guys or girls suggest which way to do around fireplace hearth. If I undercut the brick what is the procedures and best tool to use? Also in front of the hearth there is a 6 inch wide strip of cement running along the floor, how would I install the hardwood on it (glue?)
Also one last thing, where would you start your first row (middle room, against wall or first row along front of fireplace?
