I am getting ready to put down 3/4" hardwoods in my home and am wondering how to do the flooring around my closets.

The master bedroom has sliding mirrored doors with a track that goes all the way across the floor. The rest of the closets have wood sliding doors that hang from the top and just have a small guide on the floor in the middle.

For the master bedroom, do I need to pull up the track, lay the floor and then put the track back down? If I do this, will I be able to get the doors back in since I'm raising the floor height 3/4"?

Any advice on how to go about this would be much appreciated.

Take all the hardware off the floor, and reinstall it after youre done. Sometimes its an easy adjustment on the hieght, sometimes it is a real pain, you may need to cut doors, drill longer holes (bifold doors) etc.
