I'm back. I trimmed 1/8 off the bottom of the T transition and it sits better now. I will still have a small gap between the T and the floor. Could i fill in with some kind of colored or clear caulking?

As for the gluing it down, I guess i could nail a small strip of wood to the T and then using Liquid Nails to hold it down. Would that work?
