I'm in the process of installing 3/4" solid hardwood throughout my first floor - including my kitchen. I've just removed the vinyl sheet flooring, but am really struggling with the felt underlayment stuck to my plywood subfloor. Can I just leave the felt, since I'm covering everything with aquabar anyway? Thanks.

I would think you could leave the felt backing, but they dont address that on their pdf. Just to be safe I would call their 800# at the bottom of the pdf.

I ended up using a wallpaper remover to steam the vinyl felt off of the subfloor. It was extremely time consuming, but it worked beautifully. Thanks for the feedback.
