I have been searching for recommended installation instructions on this product. It is solid maple wood approx 5/8” x 6” x 6’, 2 strips wide, ceramic coated, 35 year warranty. What I need to know is if this meant for a nail-down install, glue down install, or some combo thereof?

Any help would be appreciated!

Regards,
Wade Tkachuk

Hello,

We have installed this exact hardwood and it's best to nail it down not glue it. We laid it right on top of subfloor and it worked excellent.

We have a question for you. We now want to do another room in our house but are 46 square feet short. Can you tell me where you got your floor from? We have been hunting for awhile with little luck. Any help you could provide would be VERY appreciated.

Cheers, Tara

Hi Tara,

Thanks for the reply. We just finished stripping off the particle board (extremely painful) and will begin nailing the hardwood down to the subfloor this week. Can you offer any tips? Was it easy to put down? How did you like the finished product when it was down?

For your question, I purchased it at an auction in Saskatoon, SK, Canada. There is another auction place (www.kramerauction.ca) that has the flooring auctions more frequently that may have what you are looking for. I would offer some of mine, but as I have not started the install, I don't know yet what will be left over. I will let you know though.

Thanks again for your reply.

Regards,
Wade

Hey Wade,

I drafted you a reply but I think it may be lost. Good luck with the installation and if you have questions, let us know. Maybe we can help.

Cheers, Tara
