How much floor prep do installers typically do? I was out at a local floor store and saw they had the same manufacture of wood and type I'm installing for a few dollars more than the cheapest I found online (for engineered). I was wondering what type of installation is typical for slabs (float, glue, subfloor install)? How much more do they typically charge if you want them to level the slab, grind away all the overspray, apply MVP, good adhesives, and remove baseboards?

No two companies are going to have the exact same costs.

For the services other then the physical act of cutting and placing boards, get and hourly + materials used charge, on top of the contract price.
