 Post subject: Installation of Australian Cypress

Location: Big Sky, MT
Doing our first project with Australian Cypress flooring. Do we install it in the same manner as any other hardwood, or are there special characteristics of this wood that we should be aware of? Any tips, hints, or suggestions for installation would be appreciated. Thanks.

It installs the same way as oak, just have to get the pressure of the compressors set right to set the staples without cracking the tounges. I prefer cleats with pretty much anything besides oak, A. walnut, and pine
