I know its recommended to install perpendictular to the joists..
But I have a long room and the joists run lengthwise. Installing
across the room just wouldnt look right given all the walking will be
down the length of the room. Do you think installing it parallel
with the joists would work with 12" between joists, 3/4 plywood
subfloor? Each joist spans 15ft and is a 2x10 with cats between
joists around 7 ft.
