Hi Folks,
Iam a newbie here. Iam planning to install the hardwood floor for my stair (down to the basement). The instruction on this website is very usefull. But I still have some confusion, hope somebody will clear this up for me... Thanks to all

Here is my question: Do I apply the Urtherance adhesive to the thread and the riser as well, or just the thread (step) only? My stair is only 12 steps and 1 small landing in the middle.

Do we have Utherance adhesive sale in one gallon can? I look on this website. It is in 5 gallon can. It is too much and I do not think use all of them.
The instructions said -start to install the riser (bottom) first and work all the way up. What happen if you need to take care something and come back later, after you glue the adhesive to the thread ... how long it will cure in order to walk on it?

I just glue the treads, and nail the risers, blind nailing where I can.

Yest they have gallons. Sometimes they are hard to get, though.

Thank you to "FloorGuy".
What about the last question...anybody know? I mean that when you are glue the tread and nail the riser, and you move on to the next tread and riser...You have to step on the new tread you are just apply a moment ago. Is that the new tread is stable enough for you to step on it? (correct me if I am wrong here...I know this is a dump question but better than a dumb mistake).

Thanks for any input.
