I have recently had engineered wooden floors installed in my Bedroom (Appalachian Hermosa Plank - Brazillian Hickory). I also have purchased a large, decorative indoor water fountain which will sit on the floor in the bedroom. Is this going to affect the flooring at all in an adverse way? Thanks in advance for your help. The link for the fountain itself is as follows if you want to have a look: http://www.buildfountains.com/store/ind ... tem7t.html

If it makes a splash and the floor gets wet, that's not good. The fountain is going to add humidity into the room. Engineered was a good choice if the humidity does rise some,
