I've got some flooring that has stumped me for quite some time. I'm a woodworker and have recently bought my grandfathers house. I laid this flooring and out the rose head nails in when I was a little kid. Now that I'm in here I'm really haven't trouble making it out. For starters I believe it is red and white oak mixed. It's beveled all around and the edges of the flooring are not t&g it's overlap. I believe it has had a heavy scrap or wire brush to it. The texture is the part is really throwing me off. We have a local BBQ joint in town that has been around for a long long time. Not long ago I noticed they had the exact same floor even with the rose head nails. I asked the owner and all he could remember was his dad talked about it all the time and thinks he said Bruce but wasn't sure. I've attached some pictures the widths are 3, 5, &7". I'm looking at custom making them my self or having my lumber sent out to local flooring shops that can match this. If only the BBQ joint would get new floors!! Any help is great fully appreciated.

Bruce mixes red and white oak for their prefinished flooring. I have only seen ¾ X 2-1/4 T&G and it was stained ebony, with a wax coating. Their is a coffee brown wax that Duraseal makes.
