I like the color variation of the floor in this pic, but I don't know what species it is...any ideas?

Thanks!

Hard to tell but if I were a guessing man it looks like a newly installed cabin grade braz. cherry prefinished floor. Braz cherry has a ton of variation when new its probably going to loose a lot of that as it ages. THe high number of shorts makes me think cabin.

Thanks for the guess Kevin. It is definitely new...house was just built. We viewed it and liked the floor and would like to have something similar (we are building).

Actually, we are very close to you in a neighboring county. We may stop in your place when we are ready to purchase.

James, that was a great answer. I vote with James on that one. He must have the new app for that.

Wasn't that Howard? I kept trying to figure out what that was. Who is that James guy and where's he come from anyhow?

Wait a second...that does look familiar. Maybe Bellawood Braz Chestnut perhaps?

Are you sure that Flickr pic isn't their Golden Teak?

They have 2 Teaks...Golden and Brazilian,( although I believe they're both out of Brazil), but Golden is lighter and gold. Oh shoot.....did you install Golden instead of Brazilian ? :P I still think James hit it...

in unfinished you can buy Cumaru separated for color by either light or dark. The dark has more red tones and the light more golden brown. that first pics has a lot of red to me.
