Hi There:
I am looking for some assistance. I have 6 1/2 boxes (135 sq. ft.) of APC Athene Cork w/the Speedy Lock System left over from a kitchen reno done four years ago.
I need 2 additional boxes to do a kitchen reno at our new home.
I am unable to find the product as APC Cork, Inc. changed the locking system and the texture (from smooth to orange peel finish) close to three years ago.
I have called not only APC Cork but many of it's listed dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada in search of 2 boxes. All with no success.
Cost wise - really want to use the cork.
Can anyone kindly suggest any alternatives.
Many thanks.
Faun

If you come accross 2 boxes of a different color or pattern, but the same locking system, and it looks good with what you have... design a pattern.

That is a great idea Howard...I can only think of one at the moment though, like alternating rows. Perhaps you have others?

Some type of checkerboard,( that dates me), borders, random  Actually installed a pinball arcade with vct in the 70's , the guy had cleared someones warehouse of odd amounts. He had me just lay um all mixed up. Looked pretty cool, ofcoarse I think strobe lights were popular

I had a customer have me do that on an old Pergo floor once, he bought a couple boxes of a different color and just throw them in here and there.

Hi There:
Think what we'll do is find a few boxes of a different product and attempt a border.
Many thanks,
Faun :)

Doing a border with a click is pretty tricky stuff
