I didn't see this question. Not really any concerns as long as the terrazzo is properly prepared if you choose the gluedown route. Typically it should be roughed (rotary buffing machine and "rock paper") up so the adhesive can bond better. Buffing also removes waxes that may be present.
Temperature? It's a non issue really as long as you run the AC during the warmer months, which practically everyone does except for those folks that may be in the Everglades in some of those much older cracker style houses.
I would choose gluedown. Firmer feel underfoot. However if it's a DIY job..floating...fewer potential problems.
