Plan to nail down some new red oak flooring this weekend, but wondering how long after laying down I can let the floors sit before sanding and finishing?

I don't know there is a time frame to sand and finish hardwood floors. I usually wait a week or two. Unfinished flooring will acclimate faster than finished flooring, so make sure that it has acclimated.

Thanks for the feedback, this is what I was hoping to hear. After I lay the floors this weekend it could be 1-2 before I sand and finish them.
