I'm getting 1700 sqft of Hardwood flooring put down in my house. How much Taylor 2071 glue should I need because my installers have 8 4 gallons buckets.

Depends on the trowel size. On AVERAGE, one gets 45 sq.ft. per gallon. You can get more if using a smaller notched trowel or less if it's a larger, square notched trowel. So, 8 x 4 = 32 gallons x 45 sq.ft. per = 1,440 sq.ft. I'd say you'll need a little more most likely.

Gary is correct. They may have trowel requirements and recommended spread rates, on their website.

Guys I've bought a total of 12 buckets. 89.00 a pop. Should this be enough because my pockets are getting a little light.
