Just general guidelines should do, I want to learn how to estimate the price of many different hardwood floor installations.

Thanks,

Depends on where you live. We charge what our cost of the wood is plus 35% (includes for the customer tax, delivery and any other miscellaneous charge. ) Prep concrete slab for nail down $2.50sf (includes various moisture barriers, and nail down plywood. And 2.50 sf to install the hardwood (a little extra for 1 1/2" or something like Tavern grade over 4") then 2.50 to sand and finish. Final price for most customers is ~$11-12 sf (7.50 plus wood choice). That is for solid 3/4" nail down, which is all we install.

Thanks that is very helpful. I only need general prices, so that is perfect.
