I have two layers of hardwood on my floor. At the front door I wish to take a section of the top layer out and replace with porcelain tile. I also wish to have a curve at the transition.
Can anybody recommend what tools to use that would safely take out this top layer and give me the desired curve.
thanks

http://www.magnet4sale.com/Sphere-neody ... b-Magnets/ would help find the fasteners so you could design your way around them. Otherwise your gonna be hitting them.

I'd cut a jig outa some plywood and tack it down then router it out a few depths at a time.
