Hi everyone. I need some advice and perhaps some reassurance. I purchased about 1700 sq ft (78 boxes) of exotic walnut engineered hardwood flooring in mid-December. It was a close out deal (receipt clearly says "Sold as is") and we loved the color. The wood has been sitting in boxes on the living floor since it was delivered.

Here is where my situation gets dicey. I was in the process of matching stair nosing and I opened up a second box for comparing the staining and found a plank that was badly delaminated. Before you all tell me that I need to open up more boxes to inspect, (I will be doing that shortly) I would just like to know how likely it is to find a few planks that are delaminated. I guess my even bigger question is will other pieces start to delaminate over time??? That is my BIGGEST concern of course. :|

I look forward to your answers and if you have advice and/or need more info to be able to answer I will gladly supply it.

Thanks!
