We moved into an older house with Peg and Groove hardwood floors. These floors have nails at each end of each board, and a small space between the boards. I can't use water, because the water will get between the boards. I don't know if i should use wax, and it is annoying because there is some dirt starting to accumlate between the boards.

Well, first you need to determine IF the floors have ever been waxed. Because waxed floors require a different cleaning procedure that non-waxed floors. For the time being, take a SOFT brush and try to loosen any dirt that may be in those grooves. It can be a paint brush or anything like that. Then, vacuum out the grooves with a shop vac. When you find out IF your floors have a waxed finish or not, come back here for instructions on properly cleaning them.

I believe the floors are waxed floors. Thanks.

For waxed floors, you need to think about periodically stripping and rewaxing. But to properly clean them, vacuum or dry dust, then use Bruce's "Clean and Strip".

Work the cleaner in the grooves with a tooth brush if needed to clean them well. After cleaning, allow floors to dry thoroughly and the rewax with Bruce's "Dark and Rich" if the floors are darker or Lite and Natural for lighter colored floors.
