I am considering 550 sqft of solid homerwood "hickory saddle" in 5" width. Does anyone have any experience with this product or any homerwood product? Could anyone comment on the quality of their products in terms of milling/how well they fit together, etc.? My other "dream floor" is a rustic american cherry with a satin water-based finish, but the pieces are so tiny that I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.

homerwood makes a neat product. Its a mill run so you will get a better overall average length and a floor that has some character but not so much it looks like a cabin grade or second. I havent sold any in a while but thay do have a long standing good reputation in the buisness.
