I'm about to lay prefinished 3/4" hickory floor and I have one question, at least for now. The floor is OSB and there is one 2" hole where there used to be a wall. What should I do? We've lived in the house for 3 years and it is a dry basement and house. The humidity has stayed between 40 and 50%.

Thanks, Dan

I have used tin can lids to cover small holes. Use a can opener and tack it in place with 2 small nails.
