Hi everyone --

I'm wondering if you can offer any suggestions on how to find someone who can level my concrete floor? I have called several concrete companies in the yellow pages and no one returns my calls. It's 450 sq ft which is not a huge space but it's something I need done in order to do a DYI engineered installation. I do NOT want to try leveling myself and I would really like to hire it done.

Any suggestions? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Maybe calling a mason instead of a concrete company. Or perhaps a vinyl guy. They do alot more leveling than I do. maybe one will level the crete only. Good Luck

In order to achieve what the competition cannot grasp, we must complete what they will not attempt. Nobody ever said it would be easy, but it's darn sure worth it.

I can do that. I do the floor prep for many who want to DIY the wood. I even consult with them to get the wood started.

Ceramic tile installers flatten floors all the time.

Don, not around here in the land of lifting and back buttering.

I screed my tile jobs, but the illegals doing tile work here.

Well, if this person who needs the work is out your way, he has it made. I saw the pictures of the floor flattening work you do. A very nice job.

You could always post your name and number at a flooring supply shop. That installers get supplies from most places don't mind and they know most of the installers in town. If you call a flooring store they don't want to lose there installers for a day or two. But we installers love cash! Just post what you need done plus size of the area. Or just call they may even give you a number. A supply shop should be in the yellow pages and near you. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR FLOORS
