Need opinions on that machine.

Hi, i just want to revive this old thread, the last post on this was July 2007, has can anyone comment further? I found this while searching and wonder what you guys think of this comment:

"If you are using a Hiretech HT8 then you will need to be very careful, as these machines are really light and they tend to jump and skip over the boards rather than sand them."

Looks like a rental style machine to me, we found the best machines to be the hummel sanders. I am sure there are several good brands, you will definitely get what you pay for. Good luck
