I would like tp install hemlock t & g planks, 7/8" thick, 8" wide over a 1/2" subfloor. I would like to get some advice on this. Any underlayment recommended? Will 2" flooring nails work? I am concerned about enough penetration into the subfloor. Any other recomendations/tips on specifically hemlock plank flooring would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ben.
