Hey everyone- I hope maybe you can me.

I have attached a drawing of my house layout where I am installing flooring. I have an entry way, The large area is the Family Room, next biggest is the Dining room, and then I have what is basically 3 hallways. I'm not real sure which way to run the flooring. I may change the direction at the dining room (angle it?) but also, I have no idea what to do at the entry way and hallway where the "T" conditions exist.

Can anyone point me in the right direction??

If you want to run it all one direction I'd go left to right, so that the hallways have the boards running along their length. If you feel like changing direction, I'd go left to right everywhere but the family room, and I'd change that to up and down or 45*.

I think either would look fine.

OK...but I will have to change the board directions at every "T" area, correct?

What is the proper way to do that?
