We just had our floors redone in a newly purchased house. Darker stain applied and 3 coats of satin poly. There is debris all over (mostly at edges but also other places) as well as swirls everywhere which are really visible when the sun is coming thru the windows. There are also 2 corners which look like they just went right over a pile of sawdust. And a few boards with whitish edges.....ugh I am so upset. Is any of this fixable?

Hello, we are new on this forum, but we are more than happy to share our experience or help.
As much as we would like to say it would be an easy fix, it is not. Some of the things we noticed from your pictures that were not done correctly:
1. They failed to scrape the edges and corners.
2. The did not vacuum very well.
3. They did not screen the floor enough between coats. This is why you are seeing the swirl marks.

The correct way to fix this problem would, unfortunately be to resand the floor.

Have you try to get a hold of a company that did your floors? File a claim? Make them come out, look at it and redo it!? They seriously did a bad, bad job there :/
