question for you guys...

We had our fir floors professionally refinished,(sanded, stained and 4 coats of Bona Traffic water based poly - satin finish) about 2 months ago.
With the floors covered in drop cloths, and the floor taped (with blue painters tape) we primed (krylon white spray clean metal primer) our old cast iron radiators.
when we pulled back the drop cloths, we found some primer overspray on the wood. got thru somehow. but that's not important. What's important is getting it off!

With a damp microfiber towel, i was able to get quiite a bit off, but there's still a film/haze on some parts.

is there a safe way to get this overspray of without damaging the bona finish?

cleaner? chemical? buffing pad? anything?

thank you for any help you guys can offer.

Try mineral spirits on a towel. If that doesn't work, try charcoal lighter fluid, it has Naptha in it.

Wipe with a damp cloth, and buff with a dry towel.

floorguy, thanks for the quick reply....

so the mineral spirtits and/or the naptha won't harm a poly finish?
