We've about decided not to use solid...not because we don't want it but because the choices are so limited in terms of width. We were going to use Hartco's Kingsford strip but I saw a job today and I don't like the 2 1/4 width.

Does anyone have any experiece with Robbins Passeggiata collection? Can't believe the price as compared to the high end brands.

This is what I'm looking at...opinions?

WFI Hardwood - Am Woods Collection
Hartco - Valenza Collection - Sakura Natural
Robbins - Passeggiata - Red Oak Natural

you can get 3/4 solid hardwood in a great variety of widths from1.5 to 12 inch widths...and you can refinish it in the future.

Oh, I wish I could use 3/4" but this is going over terrazzo floors so it has to be 5/16", 3/8" or 7/16". Not many choices in those unless you want exotics.
