I am halfway through a room when I chipped and dented a board on the row down the middle of the floor. I could glue the chip back (maybe 3/16 x 3/4") but I'm not sure how well wood glue would hold up over the years. The board is in prime position to be replaced, but is that a good idea? The board is about 6" x 48" and glued down to concrete. Should I try to pry it up with crowbars? Hammer wedges under it? Saw it out? Use a reciprocating saw under it? Or just leave it be? The damaged board has the groove side exposed down the long edge, so there no worry about damaging a long tongue, but I fear damaging other boards in the process and making things worse. What should I do?
