New to the forum, DIY'r with lots of experience in tile and a little in hardwood. I just purchased 1500 sqft of maple parquet flooring made by Superior Flooring in Laona, WI. They donated it to a church for a money maker. Cost me $125. the Parquet flooring is in strips 9"wide X 24"longX5/16"thick. I was thinking of making squares that are 9x9 and alternating the direction to make a checker board pattern. Menards has the Varathane ezv sander. In this pattern is there a right or wrong way to sand? Thanks, Jamie
