We live in a Morton building finished off for our home. The floor has dropped and needs to be raised. However, we have a beautiful floating floor on top of the concrete. How can we take parts of it up to allow the concrete leveling and get it put back down and have it look right when the work is completed? The flooring we have is the tongue and groove with the built-in glue on the edges and was nearly impossible to get apart while we were putting it down a few years ago. We don't know whether we'd be better off cutting out a portion or as someone suggested cutting in circular holes, we're just sick thinking about the mess. The area is 28 x 52 and is all the same wood basically. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Don't know what to tell you. It surely isn't going to be what "you want to hear"!!

Make straight cuts, and put it back in with "T" moldings across the room???

Cut it into manageable size, and put it back in, alternating directions, like huge parquet, using a router and slip tongue/spline. with span boards of another color.
