I picked up a small quantity of hardwood from a local auction near Toronto, that seemed to be of good quality and I installed it with no problems. I was keen to purchase some more because the price seemed very reasonable with what I have seen at Home Depot and other flooring stores; however, I tried to do some research on the manufacturer and cannot seem to find anything on them. In fact, the only reference I can find on the brands available through google, are links to other auctions across Canada that are selling similar product. Before I invested anymore money into more product, I wanted to see if anyone knew of the below brands and if they are reputable? Thanks in advance for all feedback.

We have installed Capella 3/4 x 4 1/2 engineered Natural Pecan. It was great to work with but the wear layer was too thin for a 3/4" engineered product. I am an old sand and finish guy so I like a thick wear layer.
