I've decided on a glue-down installation of engineered hardwood throughout my house including my kitchen. Currently, my kitchen cabinets, dishwasher, stove, etc all rest on tile. I will be removing the tile in the kitchen, but should I remove it under the dishwasher and stove as well and replace with hardwood?

Not sure if it's a problem, but the tile will sit about 1/2"-5/8" higher than the hardwood once it's installed.

Thanks!

Yes I would remove all of the tile.

Out here there usually is no flooring under dishwashers, and if there is I avoid puttin wood under it like the plague. Just make certain you can get it out to repair or replace. Stoves, always.

Ditto.

To add to Stephens post. In the dishwasher space, I will cut two boards and loose lay them across, just in case the dishwasher installer needs to shim the back of the base and he can either remove them if he doesn't need them, or place them where he needs them.
