I found a hardness chart and thought I wanted Hickory, Kempas or Brazillian cherry. They all seem to be hard. Then after reading the board I heard that Brazilian cherry is not stable. I live In Houston area and have lots of humidity. How do I fine what is hard and stable. I never saw a stability chart anywhere?? I love Handscraped and have looked at anderson vantage and Mannington Legacy. Which is a better product. ??

Is it bad to use in an home office where rolling chairs ar used??

Thanks versed240

Rolling office chairs will indent any wood. Use Chair protectors. In fact, all floors need chair pads to protect floors from rolling wheels.

A hard wood that is stable is mesquite. And it is grown right there in your state. Check it out!
